Wade’s practice includes estate planning and estate administration, trusts, trusts and probate litigation, probate administration, family law, and criminal defense. He believes that we all want to maintain control over our lives. But life can be unpredictable, and we may not always be able to act for ourselves. Proper planning allows others to assist as you age, deal with unexpected health issues, and help family after you die. A comprehensive estate plan can provide peace of mind and reduce stress on loved ones while they are trying to cope with your loss by protecting resources and assets, and reducing expenses and taxes at death.
Wade is dedicated to assisting clients in managing the financial and legal risk that most, if not all, people have to confront during their lifetimes. He strives to make complicated financial matters and complex legal issues easy for clients to understand by providing clear, concise, and thorough explanations.
Originally from Rock Rapids, Iowa, Wade has now called Sioux Falls home for 20 years. He lives with his wife, their three sons and recently became legal guardians of their niece. Wade is passionate about community service and is involved in many organizations such as Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, United Way, NAMI, and American Cancer Society. In his spare time, Wade likes to golf, travel, read, and spend time with family.
